Sonoma County is especially vibrant during the holidays! Here is a list of events that I am most excited for this December 2025!
December 5 – Tree Lighting in Healdsburg + Night Market
Celebrate the holidays on the Plaza with the annual Merry Healdsburg Tree Lighting! Bring the whole family to enjoy a winter wonderland downtown with carriage rides, live music, a holiday night market, and much more!
December 5 – Winter Festival in Cloverdale + Tree Lighting
Kick off the holiday season in true Cloverdale style! Join us for an evening filled with festive fun, community spirit, and holiday cheer for all ages.
December 6th, 13th, 20th – Breakfast with Santa at Costeaux French Bakery
Children near and far are invited to meet Santa Claus during the Breakfast with Santa at Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg. Every Saturday before Christmas November 29th to December 20th, Santa will be onsite from 9-11 am. They can confess if they have been naughty or nice and share their Christmas wish list with Santa. A complimentary digital photo will capture the moment and be shared to be cherished by your loved ones for years to come.
December 6-7 – Holiday Bazaar at Bacchus Landing
Bacchus Landing’s Holiday Bazaar brings together local artisans, gourmet food vendors, and award-winning wineries in a festive marketplace setting. Guests can shop for handcrafted gifts and holiday décor, enjoy seasonal treats, and experience wine tastings from Bacchus Landing’s collection of wineries. With live music and a welcoming atmosphere, the Bazaar offers a relaxed way to celebrate the season while finding unique holiday treasures.
December 6 – Soup & Sweaters
Celebrate the season Alexander Valley style! Join the family-owned wineries of Taste Destination 128 for our Annual Soup & Sweaters Holiday Soirée, a cozy afternoon filled with warmth, cheer, and local charm.
Sip and savor your way through seven scenic, family-operated wineries, each offering a hand-selected holiday wine tasting paired with a comforting, seasonal soup. From rich reds to sparkling whites, each pairing highlights the love and care these wineries put into their craft.
December 11 – Holiday Wreath Making at Lambert Bridge Winery
‘Tis the season to deck the halls, and what better way to kick off the holidays than by handcrafting a beautiful wreath? Under the expert guidance of Jenny Nourse, a renowned floral artist, you’ll learn the art of wreath making from start to finish. Jenny will share her tips and tricks for creating stunning, seasonal wreaths using a variety of materials, including fresh greens, dried flowers, ribbons, and ornaments.
December 13-14 – Holiday Market at Bricoleur Vineyards
Sip, shop, and celebrate the season – festive fun for the whole family
Step into the holiday spirit at our annual Holiday Market, where the estate transforms into a winter wonderland featuring local artisans, festive treats, and seasonal cheer. Enjoy a glass of Bricoleur wine while shopping handcrafted goods and soaking in the magic of the season. December 18 – The Nutcracker Christmas Ballet at the Luther Burbank Center
Give the gift of the Nutcracker with the whole family. December 14, 20, 21, & 24 – Horse + Carriage Rides in the Historic Santa Rosa Railroad Square
Join us for this annual holiday tradition in Historic Railroad Square! Free Horse & Carriage Rides, live music, and special guests every Saturday and Sunday between, and including, November 28th and December 24th, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
December 19-21 – The Nutcracker at Spreckels Performing Arts Center
Experience the timeless magic of The Nutcracker, a classical ballet presented by Dance Evolution Studios, formerly Santa Rosa Dance Theater! This beloved holiday tradition tells the enchanting story of a young girl whose Christmas Eve carries her into a world of swirling snowflakes, dancing sweets and unforgettable adventure. This year’s production features a female Drosselmeyer, adding a fresh modern twist to the classic tale.
